2. Structural Silicone Curtain Wall System

In a structural silicone curtain wall, glass panels are connected to the supporting structure using special cassettes and system-compatible structural bonding solutions. When viewed from the exterior, the glass surfaces and joints between the glass panels are visible instead of aluminum caps.

3. Semi-Capped Curtain Wall System

4. Panel Glass Curtain Wall System

In a panel glass curtain wall system, facade sections are prepared as large modules under controlled factory conditions and subsequently installed onto the building at the construction site.

This method may be considered when the building height, facade module arrangement, site conditions, transportation opportunities and installation schedule are suitable. The system requires detailed engineering and installation planning.

5. Spider Glass Facade System

In spider glass facade systems, glass panels are connected to the supporting structure using point-fixed components. These systems may be used at entrances, atriums, storefronts and special areas where a high level of transparency is required.

A spider glass facade is not a standard solution for every project. Glass specifications, point-fixing components and the supporting structure must be calculated according to the specific project conditions.

6. Other Curtain Wall Solutions

A glass curtain wall can be combined with aluminum composite panels, perforated panels, mesh panels, ceramic, Sinterflex, compact laminate or other facade cladding materials within the same project.

Perforated or mesh panels can form a secondary facade layer, providing solar control, partial privacy, concealment of technical areas and a distinctive architectural identity.

The proportion of transparent and opaque surfaces should be determined according to interior use, facade orientation, energy-performance expectations and architectural design.
